Before supplier comparison

A sample is a decision checkpoint

  1. Freeze the request

Specify sport and competition level, skirt material, cork construction, dimensions and weight. Record the supplier's speed designation together with the intended indoor play environment; a printed number alone does not settle suitability.

  2. Compare like configurations

Ask for a written material and construction description, sample charges and minimum quantity by variant. Separate feather and nylon proposals instead of ranking them as interchangeable products solely by unit price.

  3. Review the actual sample

Assign a buyer approver and a repeatable court review. Record the hall conditions, sample identity, observed flight behavior and visible construction defects. Exact-item test evidence should relate to the proposed configuration, not a nearby catalog family.

  4. Approve the pack basis

Confirm pieces per tube, tubes per carton and carton dimensions. An illustrative request for 100 tubes at 12 pieces per tube represents 1,200 pieces; this calculation describes a brief, not an available pack or minimum order.

Choose the buying route

The same shuttle photograph can hide different replenishment and packaging requirements. Choose the channel first, then state which substitutions are acceptable.

Club replenishment

Separate coaching practice from scheduled match use. Give quantity by speed and construction, review consumption assumptions internally and identify the sample approval date.

School purchasing

List the student program, intended activity and storage arrangement. Ask whether the requested pack ratio suits distribution between classes and what identification belongs on the outer cartons.

Retail assortment

Define the shelf unit, labeling, neutral or custom tube design and replenishment quantities. Product-page performance language does not substitute for your own acceptance notes.

Put the missing decisions in the RFQ

A budget preference can guide material and service comparisons without implying an accepted price. State currency and whether the figure covers one piece, one dozen, one tube or the whole order.

Factory quotations, availability, delivery timing and requested documents require supplier confirmation. Freight, sample costs and exclusions must be aligned before total procurement costs are compared.

Read the procurement brief

State required specifications, quantity, destination and delivery timing. Unknown details can be marked for confirmation; a real supplier quote is not required to start.
